Always in my cupboard
I've been using this product for a few years and it's amazing! I notice the difference in my energy levels for working out and also generally during the day. If I run out or don't use this for weeks on end, I notice the difference in how I function each day.... it's a must have!
Nice strong flavour
The strawberry and lime flavour is super strong! It tastes soooo nice and fruity, i just have to dilute it between 2 water bottles lol
'Unflavoured' is too ambigous
This is a heads up to any who is thinking about choosing the unflavoured option; it has a flavour, and it's tastes disgusting... Honestly, I can't mix it with anything without it's foul flavour coming through, and subsequently ruining whatever I choose to mix it with! I'd imagine the flavoured options taste good, as I bought the lemon & lime bcaa - which was nice - and I would have happily taken the hit on the added sweetners had I known how horrible the unflavoured is. I suggest 1 of 3 options for MYVEGAN: change the name from 'unflavoured' to something more fitting (I could think of a few...); caveat the purchase of unflavoured; by telling the customer how bad it tastes; or get rid of it completely! This is the first time I've complained about anything online, which should indicate how bad it tastes. Anyway, I just thought it was worth mentioning. Everything else I've purchased from myvegan has been good though! :)
BEST VEGAN EEA
My favourite EAA by far! Usually I find most vegan products taste nasty, not this one however! Pleasant taste, will 100% buy again... and I'm not even vegan!
Tastes like happiness
This has to be the best tasting amino acid drink I've had. I can't tell you how many times I've got my hopes up over a drink's flavour only to have it taste like chemicals or medicine, and in turn hurt my feelings.. but this tastes and smells exactly like Cola bottles, which is great considering I bought the Cola flavour. Also it mixes really well too. Will definitely be sticking with this from now on!
Tasty, though maybe not as "E" as I thought
I bought the Cola flavour, and the main bonus of this easy-mix powder was that my sugar-craving fiancée found it tasty too; she usually baulks at the taste of workout shakes, vegan or no, so it was good to find one she enjoyed. That said, it's gonna mainly be useful for those aiming to lose weight but retain strength. For those trying to build a bit of muscle (like me), I've since discovered that the other protein products available from MyVegan provide all the EAAs too anyway. The packet instructions are also slightly confusing: it says "3 scoops (or to taste)", but this is closely followed by "Do not exceed the recommended dose." So is 3 scoops the recommendation? And does "to taste" mean only "3 scoops *or less*"? So I shan't be buying any more of this for myself, but I'll be adding it to my basket once my partner's drank her way through it.
