Sickly taste but works
3This is my first ever meal replacement shake which I’ve gotten as I’m a nurse who works shifts and need quick calories. I got the vanilla and Honestly the taste isn’t good, it’s so sickly sweet and makes me feel ill after having it. It does mix well and it does curb my hunger and need for snacks, I may try a different flavour next time.
Too sweet
3Bought this as an alternative to Huel. It's much cheaper for the same thing although the major difference is the sweetness. The Vanilla flavour leaves a saccharine aftertaste - apparently because of the sucralose in the blend. It would be very easy for them to fix it - take it out - so they should do this. Otherwise nutritious and tasty.
Still my favourite
5Six months on, and this is still my favourite protein shake ever – for so many reasons. First, it packs the best collection of nutrients I've seen in a vegan shake. Second, it tastes the best. Third, it mixes well with other shakes. Fourth, it's helping me get results – I've cut my bodyfat and upped all my lifts. So I'll always come back for this one!
The best tasting MyVegan shake so far
5This is my favourite MyVegan shake, being as it is the best combination of nutrition and taste. Whereas the chocolate of the Soy Protein product is quite rich, the Whole Fuel chocolate flavour is deliciously creamy. This means I've combined it with some of the other MyVegan products that would otherwise have an overpowering flavour (e.g. the coffee and walnut Vegan Protein Blend) to make them more palatable AND better for bulking out the muscles.
Sorts breakfast and/or snacks
5This is pretty much a meal replacement: it tastes delicious (I'm reviewing the chocolate flavour), is packed with nutrients from a variety of natural sources, and is suitably filling so that you can have it for breakfast and need nowt more for the next 3-4hrs. It's definitely reduced my cravings for snacks too. Best part is it packs more protein than the other typical meal alternatives out there.
The reason why "delicious" rhymes with "nutritious"!
5This is a wonderfully easy product to mix, and the chocolate is gorgeously creamy even with water as the base. And with such a fantastic blend of vitamins and minerals etc alongside a solid amount of protein, I'm definitely coming back for more of this...!
